Justice Quarterly (JQ) is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal currently published 7 times a year by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1984, it is an official publication of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) and publishes multi-disciplinary research on all aspects of criminal justice, crime, and criminal behavior.
Each issue features original theoretical, empirical and interpretive studies that address contemporary issues in criminology and criminal justice, along with articles that explore the causes and consequences of crime, and the operation and evaluation of the criminal justice system. Published papers cover a number of disciplines, including sociology, psychology, public health, education, social welfare, urban development, and economics. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1984 and 2014.
