Journal of the American Pharmacists Association (JAPhA) is an active peer-reviewed medical journal published bimonthly by Elsevier. Launched in 1912, the journal went through several name changes before acquiring its current title in 2003. It is the official journal of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and publishes research concerned with pharmaceutical care and practice.

Each issue features original articles on medication use and health outcomes, drug therapy, diseases and other health issues, health care policies, and trends in pharmacy practice and therapeutics. It also includes reviews, experiences, and opinion articles that link science to contemporary pharmacy practice to improve patient care. Occasional supplementary and special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest or area of concern.
