DESCRIPTION
Journal of Emotional Abuse was a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published quarterly by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1997, it published interdisciplinary research on all aspects of psychological maltreatment, before ceasing publication in 2008 and incorporated into the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma.
Each issue featured original articles focused on nonphysical aggression, intimidation and harassment in the family, in the school, and in the workplace, along with the latest developments in the field, including definitions, theories, research, interventions, and policies concerning emotional abuse. Published papers were written by and for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in mental health, social services, law, child development, social and industrial systems, education, child protection, religion, medicine, nursing, and business.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1998 and 2008.
