Journal of Elder Abuse & Neglect is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal currently published 5 times a year by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1989, it publishes the latest advances in research, policy and practice, and clinical and ethical issues in the abuse and neglect of older people.
Each issue features original articles that examine and address the causes, treatment, effects, and prevention of the mistreatment of older people, including tools and techniques needed for better detecting and responding to actual or potential elder abuse and neglect. It also contains up-to-date information on clinical practice, policy, education and training, literature and book reviews, international issues, and information on specific disciplines important in the field. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest or area of concern.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 2003 and 2011.
