The Journal of Economic Psychology is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering behavioural economics. It was founded by Willem Frederik (Fred) van Raaij in 1981 and is published by Elsevier on behalf of the International Association for Research in Economic Psychology, of which it is the official journal. 

The journal aims to present research that will improve understanding of behavioural, in particular psychological, aspects of economic decisions and processes. It is published under the auspices of the International Association for Research in Economic Psychology (http://www.iarep.org), whose aim is to promote interdisciplinary work relating to economic behavior.

The publishes research articles: novel reports of empirical (field or experimental) research and brief reports; empirical contributions (for example, robustness tests), re-examinations and re-analyses, as well as short formal-analytical contributions linked to well-established empirical phenomena; replication studies; extensive reviews of state of the art topics in economic psychology and book reviews. Special issues of the journal may be devoted to themes of particular interest.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1981 and 2012.
