Journal of Child & Adolescent Substance Abuse is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal currently published bimonthly by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1990, it publishes the latest interdisciplinary research and clinical information concerning the assessment, prevention, and treatment of substance abuse in all ages of children.
Each issue features original articles and clinical reports on current strategies and issues in the treatment of child and adolescent substance abuse. Published papers cover a range of disciplines, including clinical and counseling psychology, psychiatry, family therapy, sociology, public health, rehabilitation, and social work. It also contains case studies that describe innovative evaluation and intervention techniques, reviews, and theoretical discussions that contribute to the better understanding of the field. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest or area of concern.
