Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry is an active peer-reviewed scientific journal published quarterly by Springer. Launched in 1983, it publishes interdisciplinary research concerning the chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere, with particular emphasis on the region below about 100 km.

Each issue features original articles on such topics as the composition of air and precipitation and the physiochemical processes in the Earth's atmosphere (excluding problems of localized air pollution); the role of the atmosphere in biogeochemical cycles; the chemical interaction of the oceans, land surface and biosphere with the atmosphere; laboratory studies of the mechanics in homogeneous and heterogeneous transformation processes in the atmosphere; and descriptions of major advances in instrumentation developed for the measurement of atmospheric composition and chemical properties. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1983 and 2007.
