Journal of Applied Mechanics and Technical Physics is an active peer-reviewed scientific journal published 7 times a year by Springer in collaboration with the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Launched in 1965, it is the English edition of the Russian publication, Prikladnaya Mekhanika I Tekhnicheskaya Fizika. 

Each issue features original research papers on fluid mechanics and applied physics. Published articles cover a range of topics, including hypersonic flows, boundary layer theory, turbulence and hydrodynamic stability, free boundary flows, plasma physics, shock waves, explosives and detonation processes, combustion theory, multiphase flows, heat and mass transfer, composite materials, and thermal properties of new materials, plasticity, creep, and failure.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1965 and 1994.
