Gerontology & Geriatrics Education is an active peer-reviewed scholarly journal published quarterly by Taylor & Francis. Launched in 1980, it is the official journal of the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) and provides coverage of current research, curriculum development, program evaluation, classroom and practice innovation, and other topics with educational implications for gerontology and geriatrics.
Each issue features original articles and reports that examine critical education issues related to aging and older adults, including report of innovations in teaching and training programs at all educational levels; discussions of issues, methods, and materials in the training and supervision of gerontology and geriatrics educators, researchers, and practitioners in all settings; new roles for gerontology and geriatrics educators; and the latest approaches and methods for developing relevant educational programs in academic, health care, corporate, and applied settings. Occasional special-focus issues are dedicated to a particular topic of interest.
The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 2004 and 2009.
