Early American Life is an active bimonthly magazine focused on the general history, antiques, style, decorating, traditions and customs of the early United States. It was founded in 1970 and is published by Firelands Media Group, LLC. 

Early American Life publishes articles on early American style, decorating and traditional crafts and American antiques; the Side-by-Side feature shows the work of  modern artisans alongside traditional examples. 

Early American Life also publishes articles about forgotten but important Americans (such as Oliver Evans, the first American engineer), stories of historical fads and events as well as articles about traditional gardening techniques, crafts and recipes appropriate to the period home, and a calendar of events relating to early American history, crafts, and traditions.

This Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1970 and 2002.
