Chemotherapy: International Journal of Experimental and Clinical Chemotherapy is an active peer-reviewed medical journal currently published bimonthly by Karger Publishers. Launched in 1960 as Chemotherapia, it acquired its current name in 1968 and publishes research on all aspects of antimicrobial and antitumor chemotherapy.
Each issue features original articles reporting on results of experimental and clinical investigations into the microbiological and pharmacological properties of antibacterial, antiviral and antitumor compounds that offer data concerning the efficacy, toxicology, and interactions of new drugs in single or combined applications. It also contains state-of-the-art reviews, short communications, and case reports of interest to health professionals and scientists in the field.
