Cardiology is an active peer-reviewed medical journal currently published bimonthly by Karger Publishers. Founded in 1937 by Bruno Kisch (1890-1966) and Wilhelm Löffler (1887–1972) as Cardiologia, it acquired its current name in 1970 and publishes the latest research on cardiovascular diseases. 

Each issue features original clinical, preclinical, and translational research articles covering recent scientific advances in the prevention, recognition, and treatment of heart disease. It also contains topical reviews and commentaries, together with several dedicated sections that highlight a variety of subspecialty areas and include new developments in noninvasive and invasive diagnostic methods, epidemiology, as well as pharmacological, preventive, and mechanical/surgical therapies.

The Internet Archive Collection contains microfilm published between 1966 and 1996.
