As part of the hunt for a new vehicular host for the Internet Bookmobile, an interesting candidate was located, but sadly Nature's hold on it was too great to be overcome without spending unreasonable amounts of cash.

The vehicle that we looked at is a 1958 Ford van converted into a Bookmobile for use by the US Army on the Presidio Army Base, presumably in the late 50's and on into the 60's.
