I can connect and browse on ap240.archive.org with a signal strength that fluxuates from around -72dBm to -78dBm(about 1mbps down). I get a stronger connection from ap205se.archive.org
from -68dBm to -62dBm. When I connect it my computer says I am connected to the internet but pages don't load at all. When I troubleshoot through Win 8 it tells me the DNS servers aren't responding. I tried using openDns servers but no luck, any ideas?

Both access points are working normally. DNS settings are also the same for both. They are on different channels, though. It might be that there is more interference on one channel in your neighborhood. You could try moving your computer (or smart phone) around and see if you get a better signal.
