Last of the batch of songs made with lofi percussion and samples. This is a song about a jokester from back in the day who tried to satirize life in realtime in place of normal interpersonal communication. Deadman wore a Robin Hood costume and danced the safety dance while recording the vocals. Digi Hartatak performed most music tracks while holding his breath and wearing a cheap plastic fireman's helmet.

Loosely based on things like an ancient Delphic Hymn and funky disco of the 1970's with other eclectic but cleverly connected themes, 3 contrasting and complimentary tracks created with Reaper demonstrate a new production quality for the future. For some reason reverb trails are cut off when rendering? Will figure that out eventually... Thanks to the manson family for the inspiration and help with production on tracks 1 & 2.

Acoustic based jam with a laid back but funky beat and some rasta twists and turns, best listened to while driving away from something and looking in the rear view mirror, preferably with the sunset behind you and the window open to allow the air to blow your hair around... and wear sunglasses it looks cooler. Deadman on lead and backing vocals. Digi Hartatak on guitars, bass, synth and samples.

3rd CD in the series of the compilation of live Peace & Anarchy practice tapes, 4 track and cassette deck recordings between 1989 and the summer of 1990. Peace & Anarchy was the remnents of Optional Death and Warfare with Conrad Gill on vocals, Brian Lipski and Aaron on guitar and Weird Jim on bass. Along with a constantly revolving lineup of would be drummers, we trudged through the bitter cold winter of 89-90 trying to find a permanent drummer and place to jam... but it would never...

2 mix tracks by Digi Hartatak from the old software that needed to be finished and would not benefit much from higher resolution or more effects due to lofi samples. These were not mastered so use your EQ. Track one is dedicated to and based on the local Philadelphia television news between 1970 and 1990 and another Jersey shore attraction burning down, namely Dracula's Castle in Wildwood. Track 2 is about religion and is mainly based on speech from a speaking bible pronounciation database and...

The Brigantine Castle was a haunted house attraction on the Jersey Shore that burned down before it was scheduled to be demolished. I started off trying to make an another "ambient' song but it was so horribly boring I figured anyone who listened to it would go into a coma. I added actual sounds from the recordings that played in various parts of the castle during the 70's, some authentic sounds of the northern atlantic and the actual Philadelphia news report about the fire. A dark chapter of musical history from a time we don't talk about from 1989 to the summer of 1990. This is the 1st CD of 3 compiled from many practice tapes, drummer auditions and song writing sessions. All songs were recorded live all over southern NJ on a cheap mono cassette recorder, a boom box, my old Realistic tape deck or a 4 track recorder by some other band in Mystic Island. 4-track mixdown tape from 1992 with mostly Lipski and a tiny bit of Valdo on guitar as well as myself on some guitar and bass and Valdo's analog synth... (Realistic Moog?) A remix of Tamika, a track from JDP on drums. Mostly annoying and slightly out of tune but great for sampling purposes... Recorded on a porta studio.

Remix and minimal extension of "Technae" by Power Switchblade AKA Styrofoam Cueball. I mangled the crap out of it, added to it, subtracted from it and processed it until it became this throbbing techno, almost lofi calasthetic and robotic song. Cameo appearances by Deadman and Nay Nay round it out.

Another MIDI sequenced version of a song that never got off the ground in the Opytional Death through early Peace & Anarchy era... I added some 486 pcm soundcard noise to the Kawai Keyboard mix... never recorded to 4 track and finished... never bought another 4 track and by the time technology advanced enough to handle multi track files and be affordable... well anyway... END PART IS KINDA COOL ANYWAY...

Deadman tells a lyrical tale about an extremely anal orthodox Jew who owns a pizza joint and struggles with the temptations of a trailer park whore and the conflicts that arise from his short temper and unscrupulous business practices.

The end is coming and you better get your jam on. I started this song back Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 6:11:03 PM. It was supposed to be the beat for the French Pimp's debut rap but it was never started. It sat on the drive as a couple of bars of audio and some muted MIDI tracks for awhile then I added some guitar several months back and decided it was time to finish it. It would have been called "Chino's Song" but after the apocalyptical samples I changed the name. The samples...

Sequel to Family Junior and another country parody. I find it amusing to click the fast play button in media player and listen to it speeded up with pitch preserved. Conray Gilly on vocals and JD Hartackle, R Dinglberry and Earl E Graves on bass guitar and fiddle. Lil PooperStar on guest vocals.

Before NWA there were the Noyz Boyz... From Pleasantville (AKA Rumbletown from Springsteen fame) and Peck's Beach came C Unick, Jaymo and DJ Jizm and their gangsta ghetto hip hop, genitalia in your face and all that jazz. Easy E used to bow down and worship these pastmasters of urban audio. Listen to the raw and uncensored strife of project thuggery and straight up cussing to the funky grooves you cannot resist.

All music by Digi Hartatak Drummo is a drum and bass song with real bass guitar and Asian synth plugin. Deadshow was going to be part one of a Deadshow inspired fake live concert by a fake virtual live band based on the Dead and other jam bands. I could not find decent enough quality recordings so used some of the best stuff I got from suggestions from folks on here and added some voiceover from Deadman. Sphere of Fear Edit 5 is a processed version of an old song from the Condordant Opposition...

Xenophobe song left in limbo for 10 years until Deadman returned to tell a tale about a little place by the now removed railroad tracks with a zigzag path through the cat'o nine tales and NJ swamp grass that lead to a hidden party spot with a stolen boardwalk bench and a trash can of liquor... we used to go back there quite often until they ripped up the tracks and made way for human progress. I used to put pennies on those very tracks every summer many years before.
