I actually think that the hill does not affect my particular position:

I also sent an email with this link to info@archive.org asking something similar and about certain setup details like bands and frequencies and channel widths.

Ah yes I am just about at Washington elementary school near Canal St off 580 freeway.

I am in Point Richmond and saw a possible WiFi signal, too weak though, so I'd like to determine whether an antenna will help.
Also, I'd like to help with the archive.

Hi Marilyn - I enjoyed mtg with you in Pt. Richmond; I hope your move here goes well and you settle in comfortably. Would you like to carpool to Archive for the staff/volunteer/visitor lunch on a Friday sometime (like the 13th)? I think you have my personal email/phone but here it is again.
